High Voltage represents the pinnacle of our choir program, competing in the esteemed Advanced Tier II division renowned for its intricate vocal arrangements and demanding choreography. Members in High Voltage welcomes both returning and first-year participants, though preference is given to those with at least one year of prior experience due to the rigorous performance expectations. Beyond the daily class period, High Voltage convenes for weekly rehearsals as deemed necessary by the director to ensure excellence. Participants are not only representatives of Cypress High School during class, but also during off-campus competitions and additional field trips. Alongside their daily class period, Pink Thunder convenes for weekly rehearsals, meticulously planned by the director to ensure continued growth and excellence. Performers are not only representatives of Cypress High School within the classroom but also during off-campus competitions and additional field trips. Committed to achieving excellence in competitive show choir, Pink Thunder sets a high standard for its members, who are expected to deliver performances of exceptional quality.

Sparks will ignite a newfound passion for the performing arts for students in our novice choir setting. This class only competes once during the competition season (February-March) in the Novice Tier IV division. Sparks introduces beginning vocal arrangements and choreography. Ideal for students exploring the performing arts or those new to choir, Sparks warmly welcomes both first-year participants and returning members. Unlike the advanced groups, Sparks doesn't hold after-school rehearsals unless the director deems it necessary. Nevertheless, students are representatives for Cypress High School, not only within the classroom but also during off-campus competitions and field trips. Sparks aims to lay a solid foundation for students to develop as singers, dancers, and performers, providing essential building blocks for advancement in future class levels. This class is ideal for first-time students.

Voltage Unlimited is our advanced bass choir club, competing once during the competition season (February-March) in the Advanced Tier I Bass division. This division demands not only strong vocal skill but also exceptional dance ability. Membership in Voltage Unlimited is open to all bass singers on campus, whether they are first-year choir members or returning participants. Rehearsals for Voltage Unlimited are primarily held after school, with occasional lunchtime sessions or additional rehearsals added as necessary by the director. Performers are representatives for Cypress High School during off-campus competitions and field trips. Voltage Unlimited is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and lively environment, where students can enjoy a fun, exciting, and entertaining atmosphere while honing their performance skills.
